authentic mexican cuisine massachusetts

Did you know that the first Sunday in August has been designated as National Friendship Day? Well now that you do, you’re faced with the decision of how to celebrate! Whether you’re planning a day with your childhood besties or the newly acquired friend you met over the summer, authentic Mexican cuisine in Massachusetts is the perfect solution. Just for fun, we thought it’d be a great time to honor a few of the most famous public friendships!

Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox

Even with the ending of Friends in 2004, these two have supported each other over time.  From marriage to divorce, career highs and lows, and family, Jennifer and Courtney are icons of what true friendship means.

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck

Talk about a Bromance; these two have been hanging strong since childhood.  Growing up in Cambridge, MA, Matt and Ben have been stuck together since the ages of 8 and 10.  From winning their first Oscars together in Good Will Hunting to their personal lives, these two are lifers!

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler

Even though these two beauties are the comedic faces of Saturday Night Live, their history goes deeper.  Meeting in Chicago 25 years ago, Tina and Amy have supported one another through several of life’s little adventures.

Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff

Okay, how do you read those name and not start singing the famous theme song of the 1980s hit Fresh Prince of Bell Aire? DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince rocked the world with their 1987 album release and continued strong until Will focused on his acting career.  However, the two have remained close over the years.

Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King

When it comes to childhood besties, these two take the award.  For 40 years, and many to come, Oprah and Gayle have created an empire without ever letting fame and fortune get in their way.  It’s been reported that these two talk to one another every day on the phone.  Some days, they even call up to four times a day!

Betty White and Lucille Ball

Okay, we’re bringing it back now.  However, not to mention this couple would be wrong! This 33-year friendship stood the test of time as the limelight shined down publicly on both women.  The two initially met in 1956 when Betty was filming “A Date With Angels” at Lucy’s Desilu Studios.  Inseparable until death, these ladies were icons for several decades.

We could go on for pages here, but we think you get the idea! Now that you’ve been inspired to give that special someone a call, head on over to La Santa Tacos & Tequila on August 4th.  Not only do we have one of the best bars in Tyngsborough, MA, but the best authentic Mexican cuisine in Massachusetts
